The theme park that celebrates human achievement and international culture, is a food lover's paradise. With its World Showcase featuring 11 countries, you can embark on a global culinary adventure without ever leaving Florida.
During the first months of summer, there are no festivals happening in the park, and if you feel lost, not knowing where to snack without any festival offerings, this post is for you! One of our readers asked for the best snacks at EPCOT, and we're more than happy to oblige! Here are 10 delectable treats you shouldn't miss on your next visit and that are available year round:
School Bread
Found in the Norway pavilion, this delectable snack is indeed a popular and beloved one by so many repeat visitors. It's based on a traditional Norwegian treat called "Skolebrød," which adds to the cultural experience of visiting the Norway pavilion. While definitely a treat, it's not overly sugary, which appeals to those who prefer more balanced flavors.
This sweet cardamom bun filled with vanilla custard and topped with shredded coconut is a Norwegian classic. It's the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, making it a fan favorite for years.

Caramel Popcorn
Head to Snow White’s home country for a sensational experience at Karamell-Küche (pronounced /ku-ha/). This is a shop in the Germany Pavilion, sponsored by Werther's Original — simply the best caramel in the world — that specializes in caramel treats.
Throughout the day, popcorn is made fresh and coated in rich, buttery caramel, providing a perfect balance of sweet and salty flavors. The smell of caramel cooking often wafts through the pavilion, attracting visitors to the shop.
Pro Tip: Germany has a reputation for confectionery and this shop lives up to the expectations — try their many other offerings as well, like the Caramel Flight or the Caramel Snickerdoodle Cookie Sandwich.

Kakigōri
Beat the Florida heat with this refreshing shaved ice treat. At Kabuki Cafe in the Japan Pavilion you can try Kakigōri, a traditional summer dessert in Japan, that consists of finely shaved ice flavored with sweet syrups. The most popular options are strawberry, melon and tangerine. For extra indulgence, you can have it topped with sweet condensed milk.
It does taste a little artificial, but it's a massive serving for the price point ($7.50) and so, so refreshing, especially during hot Florida days.
Pro Tip: Consider visiting during one of EPCOT's seasonal food festivals for even more unique snacking opportunities!

Crêpes
The France Pavilion is a land of cheese, bread and wine — what’s not to love about this place? But one of my favorite places to eat in this pavilion is a restaurant called "La Crêperie de Paris”. They offer a variety of sweet and savory crepes and some guest favorites include chocolate-hazelnut, strawberry, and ham and cheese. They even have a ratatouille crepe! To elevate your meal, order some Joffrey’s coffee and you’re off to have the most perfect day at EPCOT!
Whether you prefer sweet or savory, the crêpes at La Crêperie de Paris are a must-try, that will make you feel like you’re in the Brittany region of France, without ever leaving Florida.

Fish and Chips
The Yorkshire County Fish Shop is situated in the United Kingdom Pavilion area of the World Showcase. As the name suggests, the main offering is traditional British-style fish and chips. The dish typically consists of battered and deep-fried cod served with thick-cut french fries (chips in British English).
The location is designed to resemble a typical British fish and chip shop or "chippy," adding to the authenticity of the UK Pavilion experience. The restaurant is a Quick Service location, making it a convenient option for guests looking for a quick meal.
This hidden gem at EPCOT truly serves up perfectly crispy, golden fish with a side of thick-cut chips. It's British comfort food at its best.

Churros
Although we all know that churros at Disneyland in California are the best, the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT really deserves to stand in the spotlight because of this delicious dessert.
At La Hacienda de San Angel, the staple restaurant overlooking the lagoon, you’ll find Helado con Churros, which is made with Dulce de Leche ice cream and churros. The churros are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, coated in cinnamon sugar, giving them a sweet and slightly spicy taste. Simply that. Perfection.

Gelato
You can’t talk about Italy without talking about gelato. This denser and silkier version of ice cream, served at a slightly warmer temperature, is one of the stars in the Italian pavilion.
Gelateria Toscana is right at the entrance of the pavilion — stop by for a hand-scooped gelato, which can be enjoyed in a cup or a cone. The stand usually offers a variety of traditional and contemporary flavors, including cioccolato, vaniglia and pistacchio.
Disney often strives to provide an authentic experience, so the gelato is usually of high quality, aiming to replicate the taste and texture of genuine Italian gelato. Indulge in authentic Italian gelato at the Gelateria Toscana. With a variety of flavors available, it's hard to choose just one!

Maple Popcorn
A unique twist on traditional popcorn, this snack captures the essence of Canada's famous maple syrup. The Maple Popcorn is sold at a cart right by the entrance of the Canada Pavilion area.
It's a sweet and savory snack featuring popcorn coated with real maple syrup, giving it a distinctly Canadian flavor profile. The popcorn has a rich, sweet maple taste that's balanced with the saltiness of the popcorn, creating a unique and addictive flavor combination.
It is definitely not as sweet as the popcorn in Germany, which I love! And extra points for this: you can fill your refillable popcorn bucket at this stand in Canada with Maple Popcorn! Yummy!!
Pro Tip: For a cool and relaxing time in Canada, pair this sweet snack with the Moosehead Draft beer and head into the Pavilion to watch Canada Far and Wide, a CircleVision 360° film about Canada.

Hummus Fries
The Morocco Pavilion features intricate Moorish architecture and bazaar-style shopping, but when it comes to food — oh, the food… — Morocco is an attraction on its own.
Make a reservation or join the walk-up list at Spice Road Table to enjoy the World-Showcase famous Hummus Fries. They are made from chickpea flour — the main ingredient in hummus — and deep-fried to a golden brown perfection.
Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these unique fries are served with a tangy dipping sauce made with Citrus-Chipotle and preserved lemon. Delicious!

Pork Egg Rolls
End your culinary journey with a stop in the China Pavilion to grab a traditional Chinese appetizer and satisfying snack.
The pork eggs rolls from Lotus Blossom Cafe are crispy on the outside and packed with savory filling, without being greasy. They're accompanied by a sweet and sour sauce, though soy sauce might also be available. They pair well with other Chinese-inspired dishes from the pavilion, or with a cold beverage like the Lychee Iced Tea sold in the same Quick Service location.
Although it is pretty similar to your neighborhood’s Chinese Take Out restaurant, the egg rolls are pretty big for its price ($5.75), which makes it such a great mid-afternoon snack. Really worth a visit!

EPCOT is often considered to have the best food in all of Disney for several reasons — the cultural diversity, quality and authenticity of its offerings, as well as the seasonal festivals that happen four times a year and bring even more culinary variety.
The Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow truly offers a smorgasbord of international flavors that will satisfy any craving. From sweet to savory, from quick bites to more substantial snacks, there's something for everyone. The park regularly updates its offerings, keeping the dining experiences fresh and exciting. So remember, part of the fun is in the exploration, so don't be afraid to try something new on your next visit!
